I’ve spent most of my career working in Marketing and my early career development with blue chip companies including Scottish Radio Holdings (1983-1985), Daily Record & Sunday Mail (1985-1987) and Baillie Marshall Advertising (1987-1992). In 1992 I set up Brodie Duncan Marketing.

Since 1998 it is acknowledged that I’ve been the driving force behind the site assembly strategy, which sees Union Street Properties Ltd and Union Street Investments Ltd control 100% of The Egyptian Halls, Union Street, Glasgow. And which now have Planning Permission for a £20M refurbishment scheme of this Grade A Greek Thomson architectural masterpiece. Once the funding issues are reconciled then this project will be green lighted.

In the process of developing plans for the ongoing development of the Foundry Lane site, which will include subject to Planning a Childrens Nursery, Offices, A day time café/bistro within Dundee’s leading independent nightclub - The eponymous Reading Rooms

Continues to offer effective, to budget, visually integrated Marketing collateral across all applications for a compact client base. DJSCM also co-ordinates Sales and Installation/ Production work for the biggest Advertising Hoarding in Scotland on behalf of the Egyptian Halls Project companies.
